Our clients reached out to us immediately after exchanging contracts on their new family home, eager for a refresh that would infuse the space with their personal style. We were entrusted with designing a comprehensive update, including everything from interior paint and lighting to full furniture and styling. A luxurious primary suite with an ensuite and robe was designed expertly built by Above Building.

Partnering with GlobeWest, we seamlessly blended contemporary and traditional design styles. Their elegant furnishings provided the perfect complement to the home's existing heritage features, creating a timeless yet updated aesthetic. The result is a charming blend of mid-century modern and classic bungalow styles.

Natural light floods key areas, enhancing the bright and inviting atmosphere. Warm walnut tones in the joinery and flooring are beautifully balanced by a colour palette of crisp white walls, biscuit accents, and subtle pops of deep sage, moody blues, and burnt mustard. Textured velvet and leather upholstery, along with curved furniture lines, add comfort and warmth.

Existing architectural details, such as stained-glass windows and decorative ceilings, were carefully preserved and complemented with new tiling, paint, lighting, and carefully curated artwork. The sophisticated finish is further enhanced by brushed brass and black metal accents in the hardware and lighting fixtures. Strategic feature lighting highlights the eclectic character and reinforces the mid-century modern theme, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable space that seamlessly connects to the serene backyard and surrounding views.
